Finance chief quits Cairn Homes

London-listed Irish housebuilder Cairn Homes has announced its chief finance officer Eamonn O’Kennedy is leaving the company.

O’Kennedy joined Cairn Homes plc in January 2015 as CFO and was instrumental in preparing the company for its listing on the London Stock Exchange in June 2015 and subsequently led the finance and investor relations functions.

The board will commence a recruitment process to appoint a new CFO and O’Kennedy will remain with the company in his role until a successor is appointed

Chief executive Michael Stanley said: “I would like to thank Eamonn for his valuable contribution to Cairn since he joined two years ago. His commitment, input and professionalism were exemplary throughout his time with the company and he was instrumental in the establishment and delivery of our business to this point. I wish him every success in his future career.”

Cairn is expected to release 2016 results next month, the first full year of results post-IPO. It returned to profit during the first half of last year as it ramped up housebuilding locally.
