AXA IM appoints Sven Krumpholz to head up German transactions

AXA IM - Real Assets has appointed Sven Krumpholz as its new head of asset management & transactions in Germany.

Based in Cologne, he will report directly to Andrew Stainer, global head of asset management, and will join Christoph Moelleken, head of fund management, in heading the Real Assets business in Germany.

Krumpholz will also be responsible for leading the effort to build exposure to the residential sector having stepped up from the role of head of asset management Germany that he has held for five years as part of 20 years’ direct experience working in the German real estate market.

Stainer said: “We have an exciting investment pipeline in Germany, which remains an important market for us here at AXA IM - Real Assets and is of significant interest to our clients. The appointment of Sven is designed to build on this success, leveraging his deep knowledge and expertise of the German market, and we wish him and the rest of the team all the best moving forward.”
