Barings Real Estate Advisers has appointed Gary Sin as director of tax for its UK and European funds.
Sin brings more than 15 years of international tax experience and specialises in delivering tax solutions on European cross-border real estate transactions, real estate fund activities including fund structuring, acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations.
He joins Barings from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a senior tax manager from December 2014, having advised on the set-up of a number of global investment funds. Prior to this he gained experience at both Ernst & Young and KPMG.
Charles Weeks, head of real estate Europe at Barings, said: “Gary will be an integral part of the team as we maintain, build and initiate new opportunities with investors across our real estate investment strategies.
