Carter Jonas has expanded its commercial team in Cambridge with a double hire to its development and valuations teams.
Kate Lea has joined as an associate partner within the development team and Imogen Bryan has joined as an associate in the valuations team.
Lea joins Carter Jonas from her role as a senior fund manager at Legal & General Property having previously worked at St John’s College and Gonville and Caius College on the masterplanning of their operational and investment portfolios.
Meanwhile, Bryan joins Carter Jonas with just under 10 years’ experience in the commercial property market, specialising in the retail sector. As part of her role within the valuations team she will be providing advice to a wide range of clients including the main lending banks and government bodies. Prior to joining Carter Jonas, she spent nine years with Cushman & Wakefield, where she worked within the corporate services and retail investment teams on transactions including La Salle IM’s purchase of Church Square Shopping Centre in St Helens and M&G’s sale of The Grafton Centre in Cambridge.
Will Mooney, partner at Carter Jonas, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kate to enhance our development team. Her wealth of experience and skill sets will help us to continue to grow and give our clients a more diversified offer. We have also seen a marked increase in demand for valuations in the past couple of years and Imogen’s appointment will help ensure that we continue to effectively serve our clients’ requirements, as well as adding valuable expertise in the retail investment sector.”
