Galliford Try Partnerships has established a joint venture with Trafford Housing Trust Development to deliver around 600 homes at Heath Farm Lane, Partington, Manchester.
Heath Lane Farm is one of the largest joint ventures in the North West between a housebuilder and a registered provider, and together they will deliver a regeneration development worth more than £100m.
The properties will be a mix of one to five-bedroom dwellings, including apartments and family homes, 500 of which will be available for open market sale.
A further 74 houses will be made available as affordable homes and will feature a mix of tenures including shared ownership and rented homes.
Homes will be promoted under Galliford Try’s Linden Homes brand as well as Trafford Housing Trust’s homebuilder brand, Laurus Homes.
Brendan Blythe, regional managing director at Galliford Try Partnerships North West, said: “In recent years, the Partington area has under gone extensive investment and we look forward to using our expertise in delivering high quality, sustainable housing to rejuvenate the area and create a thriving, high quality community.”
Work has commenced on the consultation process ahead of a planning application which will be made to Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council. Work is expected to start on site later in 2018.
