Industrial developer IDI Gazeley has poached Lidl’s head of warehouse construction Graeme Munro to take up the role of construction director for the UK.
Munro, who will start in the role in June, will be responsible for all construction-related activity in IDI Gazeley’s UK team.
He has spent the past 15 years at Lidl, overseeing the growth of its industrial and logistics network.
“We look forward to Graeme coming on board to lead our design and construction standards, which continue to exceed the expectations of our customers,” said Alex Verbeek, IDI Gazeley’s UK managing director.
“As our customer community continues to grow, it is important for us to continue to have people who understand how the market is changing and how we can improve our customer service.
“Graeme brings a wealth of experience on that front and will be a hugely valuable member of the team.”
