Knotel has signed a lease agreement with American Realty Capital New York City REIT to take space at its 9 Times Square office building in Manhattan.
The shared office provider will be taking 26,340 sq ft at the office building located at 200 West 41st Street in New York City.
Knotel will take the entire fifth, seventh and ninth floors subsequently signing a sub-let with Bauer Media to take one of those floors.
It is the latest in a number of occupier deals signed by Knotel this year on the back of a $25m Series A funding round it closed in February. The company anticipates fully occupying the space by the middle of 2018.
Other tenants at 9 Times Square include noise consultants Longman Lindsay and law firm Horowitz Horowitz & Paradis.
David Falk, Eric Cagner, Jason Greenstein and Matthew Siegel of Newmark Knight Frank represented the landlord. Gabriel Marans, John Mambrino and Jordan Weiss of Savills Studley represented the tenant.
Weiss said: “The location allows Knotel’s clients to operate in a primary business district with incredible flexibility. The landlord built a high-end and creative installation that was a match for Knotel’s brand at the property.”
