M7 appoints new co-head of German asset management

M7 Real Estate has appointed Philipp Jakubowicz as its new co-head of asset management for Germany.

Jakubowicz will aim to further grow M7’s German real estate portfolio which now has assets under management of €1.4bn comprising 189 properties alongside co-head Alfred Garbe.

He will lead the twelve-strong asset management team and be based in Frankfurt, with responsibility for the Frankfurt and Dusseldorf offices while Garbe takes charge of Berlin, Hanover and Stuttgart. Both report directly to M7’s German managing director Alyssa Huse.

Jakubowicz is a graduate of the European Business School (London) and has worked for M7 since the start of 2016. He has over 15 years’ professional experience in the real estate sector including being previously acting as transaction and lease manager at Siemens Real Estate where he was responsible for the group’s own commercial property.
