Rettie & Co have strengthened their build to rent offering with the appointment of industry veteran Hazel Sharp Webb to head its PRS and BTR team.
Webb brings over a decade of experience having joined from the senior team at Allsop Letting & Management, and she also chairs the Scottish Property Federation’s Residential Investment & Management Committee, the Tenancy & Regulation sub group of the PRS (Scotland) Working Party and is a member of the RICS (Scotland) PRS Forum.
Earlier this year, Rettie & Co. advised on Scotland’s largest BTR deal to date, the Moda Living and Apache Capital joint venture development at Fountainbridge in Edinburgh and, as a firm, sees sig-nificant potential for BTR in Scotland with over 2.500 BTR units in the pipeline in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Matthew Benson, Rettie and Co director, said: “Having worked alongside our team for several months now, it’s great news that Hazel has joined us on a more permanent basis.
“Hazel brings a wealth of experience to the table, including her participation in the first ULI UK study tour of multi-family housing in the US and her contribution to Build to Rent Best Practice Guides. Hazel’s con-tribution to our BTR services will be invaluable for Rettie and our clients.”
