Global bar brand Buddha-bar is set to relaunch in the UK after buying the 11,000 sq ft Chicago Rib Shack site in London’s Knightsbridge for close to £1.5m.
The deal is set to complete this week, and the bar, which is run by George V Entertainment, is due to open in October this year.
Buddha-bar originally opened in London on the Victoria Embankment under a franchise, but closed its doors after falling into administration in 2010.
George V Group operates 12 Buddha-bars across the globe, including celebrity hang-outs in Paris and Monte Carlo.
James Andrew International acted for the private owners of Chicago Rib Shack. Buddha-bar represented itself.
