Hays Recruitment and research outsourcing company Rocsearch have taken 11,095 sq ft at The Blade in Reading.

The companies, which will occupy parts of the sixth and seventh floors, have signed a ten year lease with a fifth year break option at rents of £29.00 and £28.50 per sq ft respectively.

There remains approximately 77,700 sq ft of space available across floors of 8,190 sq ft.

Julian Cobourne, Aviva Investors, said: “We are sensing a far more positive attitude creeping into the Reading property market early in 2013.

“The Blade remains one of the most high profile buildings in the Thames Valley with the capability to accommodate a wide range of requirements. The arrival of Rocsearch and Hays adds to our growing tenant directory and we’re confident of continued success during the year.”
