IM Properties (IMP) has let 30,000 sq ft of office space to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) at 55 Colmore Row, Birmingham.
The RICS will join lawyers Pinsent Masons and property consultants Savills, who are taking a combined 57,000 sq ft across three floors, at the 160,000 sq ft grade A office. The £30m mixed-use scheme is now two thirds let.
IMP’s investment director John Hammond said: “If you’re going to develop prime offices, you couldn’t be much better placed in terms of location than 55 Colmore Row. We always understood its potential and that’s why we invested so significantly to create the best offices in the city centre.
“Quality and location will always trump the competition, although undoubtedly it was also a question of being in the right place at the right time, with Colmore Row and the surrounding business district enjoying considerable growth and attention.”
Joint agents for the office space are Savills and CBRE, with Birmingham-based BWD Retail handling the retail and leisure sectors.
