WeWork has signed a 15-year lease with Royal London Asset Management on a 90,000 sq ft office building at 131 Finsbury Pavement in London.
The co-working operator will refurbish the building before taking up occupation in the first half of next year and bringing its total number of sites in the UK to 29.
Keith Miller, portfolio manager at Royal London, said “This letting marks our first participation in the rapidly evolving co-working space and helps us further diversity our exposure to the property market.”
Patrick Nelson, head of real estate for Europe at WeWork, said: “With Crossrail approaching, we continue to look to establish a strong presence around major transport hubs which in turn is beneficial for our members”.
GM Real Estate advised Royal London Asset Management.
