Slade joins Evans Randall

John Slade has joined Evans Randall Investors, just days after Property Week revealed he was quitting BNP Paribas Real Estate (BNP PRE).

Slade, who led BNP PRE’s recent takeover of Strutt & Parker, has taken up the post of executive chairman at Evans Randall.

Slade said: “I’m delighted to be invited to join up with this real estate investment leader. It is an opportunity too exciting to pass up. The London market is the best and they are the premier operator therein.”

Since its foundation in 2004 Evans Randall has completed more than £8bn of European real estate transactions with a particular focus on prime London offices.

At the time of the takeover of Strutt & Parker at the end of July, BNP PRE said it would unveil a new role within the firm in October. However, Slade quit a month before those talks were due to come to an end.

Following the takeover Strutt & Parker’s managing partner Andy Martin was announced as the boss of the merged firm’s UK business.
