Kier Property and Investec Property have signed up Work.Life, a co-working operator focused on taking ground-floor space in office and residential buildings, to their Hammersmith development Kings House.
London-based Work.Life has agreed a 10-year lease to take 10,094 sq ft of co-working space at the new-build 60,000 sq ft scheme, which is on the site of the former Kings Theatre.
Work.Life said it had found a niche in helping developers fill their buildings more quickly by providing a vibrant community.
“We share Work.Life’s belief that face-to-face collaboration and curated spaces can create tight-knit communities that add real value to buildings,” said Pip Prongué, managing director (south) at Kier Property.
“This was the perfect solution to help us insert an oven-ready community of creatives that adds a layer of diversity into a premium office location.”
Lambert Smith Hampton and Colliers are the building’s agents. Savills acted for Work.Life.
