Teeing off ahead of World Mental Health Day, the annual Leeds Property Investment Charity Golf Day swung into action by raising a record sum for a national mental health charity.

BHT CWMT golf day

The winning shot: David Brackenridge & Robin Tate of BHT and Gordon Black of the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust

Taking place last weekend at the picturesque Ilkley Golf Club a record number of teams took to the greens including representatives of property big hitters JLL, Town Centre Securities, Towngate and CBRE.

It was the team from CBRE who claimed the prize from organisers Brackenridge Hanson Tate (BHT) with a stunning under par score but the real winners were the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust as sponsors including GVA, Ryden and Blacks Solicitors helped raise a well over-par sum of £11,000 for the mental health charity.

Another great offering from ‘God’s own country’ – Metropolis applauds all who were swinging and winning.
