GVA’s Midlands team has welcomed Luke Thacker to its industrial team as an associate. He has extensive experience of the Midlands property market, having previously worked in GVA’s restructuring and recovery team.
Knight Frank’s commercial research team has recruited senior analyst Mandip Bhogal and capital markets analyst Will Matthews.
Ian Smith has been recruited as managing director for the North West region at Miller Homes. He will be based at the company’s offices in Newton le Willows.
GL Hearn has made five promotions to director and associate director level. The new directors are Amy Jefferies and David Matthewson. The new associate directors are Tracey Gribble, Laura Meyer and Clare Lennard.
Estate agent Anton Page has promoted James Taylorson from agency surveyor to associate partner.
Hines has made two appointments to support its student accommodation platform Aparto. Suraiya Comunello has been made director of marketing and operations and Tom Rix director of operations.
Manchester-based architectural practice Hodder+Partners has appointed three new team members: Richard Newman, Simina Ionescu and Shaun Jenkins.
Senior consultant Rebecca Cumming, who has 20 years’ property industry experience, has joined Naismiths’ project monitoring team based in Bristol.
Industry veteran Peter Goldsmith has been made the new chairman of estate agent Humberts.
Jaynic has made property developer Simon Wilson project director for the 2m sq ft Suffolk Park business, distribution and industrial project at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The company has also appointed Jason Newman as construction director.
Indigo Planning has made Bethany McQue a planner in its Leeds office and Tom Dilke a researcher in its central London office.
Ben Beadle has been appointed business director, south, at property management firm Touchstone. He will specialise in the private rented sector and build-to-rent.
Sir Nigel Knowles and Edward Rumble, two investors of property technology company OneDome, have been appointed to its executive board.
Bruton Knowles has made Dorian Wragg a partner in its Gloucester office. Wragg specialises in managing complex multi-sector assets.
Savills has hired two directors, Hunter Booth and Ed Betts, to jointly head its London West End office agency team.
Richard Nicholas has become an associate director to lead Colliers International’s investment property management team in Bristol.
